Effective October 1, 2023, Section 166.041, F.S., requires a Business Impact Statement (“BIS”) to be prepared along with certain ordinances that impact the operations of local businesses. This section mandates that the BIS be published on the Towns website and contain certain information, including the purpose of the proposed ordinance, as well as the estimated economic impact on businesses and compliance costs.
Any proposed ordinance of the Town of Pembroke Park affected by this legislation will be posted here.
NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all parties that the Town Commission of the Town of Pembroke Park, Broward County, Florida, is conducting a Public Hearing in the Town Commission Chambers of Town Hall, located at 3150 S.W. 52nd Avenue, Pembroke Park, Florida, at 7:00 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month or as soon thereafter as may be heard, on the following ordinances, to-wit: For more information visit the agendas at https://tppfl.civicweb.net/Portal/ or contact the Town Clerk's Office at (954) 966-4600 ext: 235
The aforesaid ordinance may be viewed and inspected by the public during business hours at the office of the Town Clerk in the Town Hall, 3150 S.W. 52nd Avenue, Pembroke Park, Florida or on the Town’s website at http://www.tppfl.gov. All interested parties may appear at the aforesaid meeting and Public Hearing and be heard with respect to the ordinance which appearance may be in person, by counsel, or by letter. Written comments may be submitted to the Town Clerk by email (townclerk@tppfl.gov) or in person at 3150 S.W. 52nd Avenue, Pembroke Park, Florida 33023 prior to such hearing for consideration by the Town Commission in making a decision on this ordinance. All interested parties please take due notice of the time and place of this hearing and govern yourself accordingly. The Public Hearing may be continued to a time and date certain by announcement at the scheduled Public Hearing without any further published notice. Any person who decides to appeal any decision of the Town Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
