Small Business Administration

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns. The SBA helps Americans start, build and grow businesses, through an extensive network of field offices and partnerships with public and private organizations.

SCORE

SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. We have been doing this for nearly fifty years.

Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development

The Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development provides technical support in various forms to businesses and non-profit organizations. This technical support can be through internship/co-op programs between local universities and business needs, and assistance with grants and incentive information. New and existing businesses can inquire upon applications for bonds and other financial assistance programs that could help businesses grow, as well as grant information to aid in the implementation or expansion of the business.
