MEET MUSFIKA KASHEM

Musfika Kashem or "Mishu" as she was called growing up and a nickname to her close friends,  grew up as the youngest child. She was born in 1989 in the capitol of Bangladesh. In school she used to study with her elder sister's,  far from her parents, all for the opportunity to get a better education. After school Musfika Kashem shifted to another big town to pursue her higher education in a BBA and MBA. During her studies she married, started a family welcoming her baby girl Zoya.  Musfika soon after completed her MBA and in 2012 she immigrated to America, calling Florida her home.

Building her American dream started with major problems in communication, as English was not her native language. But her effort and hard work paid off and she found part time jobs at places like ROSS and the Dollar General store to make ends meet to pursue her commitment to building her American dream . She climbed up their corporate ladder soon after starting, mastered her English and finally got to feel accepted in America. Kashem after many years building her life in the states, raising her family, and proving herself through hard work was finally eligible and went through the immigration process, becoming a proud US citizen in 2020.

Due to her work in customer service and dedication towards helping people,  got an offer from Monument Real Estate Services as a Leasing Consultant in 2019 and she establish her place in the real estate industry. Musfika Kashem was promoted to manager at the  Centennial Management Corp as Assistant Leasing Manager and within a year she got promoted to Manager at their corporate office.

Her family background  has pushed her to be independent, hard working, and to never  give up on her dreams from when she was a young girl. She always believed she could start a family; create a career for herself; and leave her mark for others to see that they too can reach their America Dream. Musfika has kept her fathers words growing that, "by giving your all for something, you will always amount to everything you aspire to achieve."

Becoming a commissioner in her small Town of Pembroke Park is the opportunity to help her community not only dream, but make them a reality. Musfika believes that if she can make it in America those dreams we all have are possible too. Musfika Kashem is running to do just what her father always told her, because she believes and knows that if she

CAN GIVE HER ALL TO HER COMMUNITY, WE CAN AMOUNT TO EVERYTHING OUR TOWN ASPIRES TO ACHIEVE.
