The Town of Pembroke welcomes festivals, events, and programs that foster community engagement, cultural enrichment, tourism, and economic development.

If you're planning to host a special event, please note:

A Temporary Use Permit is required for:

  • Indoor events or promotional activities that alter the approved use of a facility
  • Outdoor events involving:
    • Street closures
    • Alcohol consumption
    • On-site commercial cooking or food sales
    • Large-scale temporary structures
    • Coordination with multiple Town departments or outside agencies

Examples of events that require a permit:

  • Concerts & festivals
  • Parades & carnivals
  • Athletic events
  • Flea markets or farmers markets
  • Food truck gatherings
  • Outdoor community events
  • Grand Openings of Businesses
  • Special Sales
  • Walkathon/ 5k or 10k Mile events, for example
  • Any similar temporary activities
