Town of Pembroke Park Teams up with Farm Share for Food Give-a-Way Event
Food insecurity is one of the biggest issues facing families, not just in South Florida but across the state and nation. That’s why these events are so important – many in our community are hurting and need a helping hand.
WHO: The Town of Pembroke Park and Farm Share
WHAT: Food distribution give-a-way event
WHERE: Raymond P. Ogelsby Preserve Park, 3115 SW 52 Ave.
WHEN: 9-11 a.m., Sat., Nov 1 (While Supplies Last)
WHY: Once again the Town of Pembroke Park is teaming up with Farm Share to provide food to those in need.
The event is open for drive-thru as well as walk-thru for families to pick up some essentials. Some of the food items provided in past events included whole frozen chickens, broccoli, beans, pasta and pasta sauce and more. The event will provide food assistance while supplies last.
