Pembroke Park Police Department Unveils New Look Vehicles

Next Step in Evolution of the Department

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – They say you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Well, when it comes to the Pembroke Park Police Department, they would argue otherwise.

The department is unveiling its “new look” police vehicles – SUVs and pick up trucks with new lettering, colors and logos. Gone are the red, white and blue colors of old; in their place is a more dramatic black and white reflective color scheme, complete with the department’s officer’s badge, 911 information and motto of “community, service, commitment.”

“Since I arrived my goal has been to bring our department to the next level,” said Daniel DeCoursey, Chief of the Pembroke Park Police Department. “We’ve worked hard to create a new culture internally with a focus on community, service and commitment. With the culture shift happening within the department, the time came to show the change outwardly, too.”

Before and After wrapThe chief explained that doing away with the “old” look of the department’s vehicles and giving them a “facelift” was an easy way to show that positive changes within the Pembroke Park Police Department are ongoing.

“This is just the next part of the evolution of our department,” he said. “While our vehicles may have a brand-new look, I can guarantee you that our officers and command staff continue to serve our community with the highest level of professionalism, compassion and dedication – that will never change.”
