Health Fair to Promote Wellness, Education and Foster Community Connections
PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – The Town of Pembroke Park is inviting residents to take an active step toward better health and stronger community ties at its upcoming FREE Health Fair. The schedule and location for the event:
- Noon - 4 p.m. Saturday, November 8
- Raymond P. Oglesby Preserve Park, 3115 SW 52nd Ave.
The Health Fair will feature free health screenings (cholesterol, blood pressure, etc.), educational resources, and family-friendly activities aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles in a fun, inclusive environment. Residents can learn about good eating habits, enjoy free food (beginning at 12:30 p.m. while supplies last), and take part in activities for all ages, including bounce houses and face painting.
“This event is about more than just health — it’s about helping make community connections,” said Pembroke Park Town Manager David Lynch. “We’re proud to provide opportunities for residents to access important resources while enjoying time together as a community. A healthy community is a strong community.”
The Town is partnering with several local organizations to make the Health Fair possible. By offering free health information, screenings and more, Pembroke Park continues its mission to ensure every resident has access to the tools and knowledge needed for a healthier lifestyle.
