Town of Pembroke Park Teams up with Farm Share for Food Giveaway Event

WHAT: Food distribution give-a-way event
WHERE: Raymond P. Ogelsby Preserve Park, 3115 SW 52 Ave.
WHEN: 9-11 a.m., Sat. Jan. 31 (While Supplies Last)
WHY: While the holidays may be in the rearview mirror, the Town of Pembroke Park is keeping the holiday spirit alive, looking for our neighbors.
To that end, the Town will is starting its 2026 monthly Food Distribution Events to help those residents who may be combatting food insecurity. Partnering with Farm Share, the Town is providing some assistance to those families, children, seniors individuals in need.
The event is open for drive-thru as well as walk-up for families to pick up some essentials. Some of the food items provided in past events included whole frozen chickens, broccoli, beans, pasta and pasta sauce and more.
